The Carousel Gap

A founder turned dusty blog posts into weekly carousels, the feed's top format, in 15 minutes instead of 3 hours.

The Carousel Gap

The case study

The founder

A B2B founder who knew carousels won the LinkedIn feed and posted zero, because each was a 2 to 3 hour Canva design task.

The situation

A carousel makes a reader swipe, and each swipe is dwell time, the strongest signal a feed has that content deserves more reach. A text post earns one stop of the thumb; an 8-slide carousel earns eight.

Nobody sustains 3 hours of design a week, so the highest-leverage format stayed absent.

What they did

  1. 1Fed the engine content that already existed: a blog post, a long email, a voice-note transcript.
  2. 2It sliced the argument into a slide arc: hook, 6 idea slides, CTA.
  3. 3The locked brand template rendered the slides, on-brand every time.
  4. 4Finished carousel in about 15 minutes of review, not 3 hours of design.

The result, per month

12 hours a month back, and the feed's top format weekly
The best-performing format went from absent to four a month, from content already owned.
